The Pézanin Arboretum, located
in the town of Dompierre-les-Ormes near
the European Gallery of Wood and Forestry,
celebrated its 100-year anniversary in
2003. Created by the Vilmorin Family,
this park has been managed since 1935
by the National Forestry Office and features
over 400 species of trees, including some
of Europe's only specimens, on a 25-ha
site. |
