the famous Saône and Loire Rivers, how

the department?
Boasting
300 km of navigable waterways, Southern Burgundy
offers a host of unique sites and marvellous
landscapes. From the confines of the Charolais
country via the Canal du Centre all the way
to the heart of the Bresse country via the Seille
River, a total of more than 100 boats with onboard
lodging facilities are available to all those
who enjoy pleasure craft excursions.
To round out this abundant and attractive leisure
resource, the department also offers larger
liners sailing up and down the Saône River,
passenger cruise ships operating by the hour
or day, along with electric barques for cruising
and exploring the canal routes.
