This village has also been classified by the National Committee of the Culinary Arts as one of the "100 remarkable centres for exploring tastes". Every wednesday afternoon, the market attracts a very large number of head of cattle. Animals are on display as of 10 am, transactions take place beginning at 1 pm. This market is still stocked by cattle breeders who sell their cattle directly without any intermediaries. If a Wednesday falls on a bank holiday, the market may take place on the Tuesday.
